Designing with Procreate

Have you used Procreate program before?

iPad users are familiar with this program the most because it’s available for iPad. Just like Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator, designers can easily draw and design with Procreate. And you can also upload fonts and brush sets the way you do in Adobe Photoshop.

It is a flexible program and a good alternative for art and design. When designing using a laptop or desktop, you may find yourself wanting to use a tablet with it. To ease the designing and coloring processes. But in iPad, you have your pencil at hand already so you can easily sketch and paint.

Custom Brush sets

Procreate already has its own brush set, yet you can easily design your own. Some illustrations require specially designed brush, this is when creating a new brush set comes in handy.

Digital Illustrations

Digital illustration

The feature that I love the most in procreate is recording the designing process from the beginning. It’s a short time-lapse video but it’s amazing to show how you designed your illustration from step 1 until you’re done with it. So whenever I create a digital art piece even a small one, I make sure to save the video and share it on Artista’s YouTube channel.

Handlettering

Handlettering is another art that I use Procreate App to create. Whether complicated or simple Handlettering pieces, you can easily design them with Procreate.
