The Watercolor Trend 2014
Doing a little search I noticed that the current trend is watercolor. It’s heavily incorporated in the modern designs including art and graphic design. So, I decided to give it a try and watch the result.
Instead of using the brush I went for a sponge. It gave a very good result in my opinion since it added a slight texture to each stroke compared to the smooth stroke of the brush. The normal watercolor brush can give textures too but the colors and edge will look more smooth compared to the sponge or any other tool.
I’ll try this new technique of mine with real paintings rather than an abstract.
